Conxx Carries Major Utility

Conxx now supports one of the nation’s larger utility conglomerates as the lead architect of its smart grid network. Exelon is the holding company for either major market electricity utility companies that reach from the midwest thru the middle atlantic regions of the country.exe-header-logo

Exelon consists of  Exelon Generation, Constellation, Commonwealth Edison, Philadelphia Electric Company, Baltimore Gas and Electric, Delmarva Power & Light, Atlantic City Electric, and Potomac Electric Power Company.

Exelon commissioned a customized smart grid version of the Conxx network management platform now called GridObserver. The migration to Conxx technology provided Exelon executives with  more timely access to operating data and Key Performance Indicators. That new access to meaningful data propelled network uptime performance to a new nigher standard.

Exelon operates regulated utilities in Illinois, Pennsylvania,  Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. and is the largest competitive U.S. power generator with approximately 35,000 megawatts of owned capacity.
