Conxx Connecting Sussex County DE

While collaborating with state and county officials about a regional solution for rural broadband, Conxx is able to showcase the cost-effective and rapid deployment features of both licensed  and unlicensed microwave technology to serve immediate networking needs in Sussex County.

Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford needed an uber performance link to connect a satellite medical facility. Conxx created a 300 mbps point-to-point link using Radwin 2000 technology during an installation timeframe that was less than a half-day in duration.

The hospital can now reliably transfer voice over IP telephone, MRI and X-Ray images, security video and internet traffic across that wireless link to the hospital core network and through the Seaford municipal fiber network.

The Environmental Services Division of Sussex County government needed a solution to replace legacy copper land line links between communications towers, waste-water treatment operations centers and field equipment.

Conxx design and installed a high performance licensed microwave system on the Ceragon IP-20 platform. The installation and turn up took less than two days, and the county is now planning on expansions of the initial microwave infrastructure.
